A Message from the founder
FreedomPointe Ministries is all about the freedom we have in Christ and how to experience that freedom with God (spiritually), ourselves (mentally and emotionally) and others (relationally). I often think of Galatians 5:1 — ‘Stand fast therefore in the freedom by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.’
Freedom in Christ is not only about what we are freed from — sin, trauma, fear, anxiety, and emotional conflict. It is also about what we are freed for — love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, maturity and relationships that grow, flourish, and reflect the heart of God. It is about letting the peace of God rule in our hearts and minds.
At FreedomPointe, we focus on helping people experience this personal and interpersonal freedom — understand their spiritual freedom in Christ, and discover the mental and emotional freedom that transforms their lives and relationships. We help you understand the freedom Christ has already given you — freedom from fear, old wounds, and emotional burdens, and freedom for peace, joy, and renewed purpose through biblical truth and practical guidance.
Freedom in Marriage
Marriages don’t have problems, people do. Individuals bring their bitterness, insecurities, and unhealthy patterns of response into the relationship, which makes it difficult to build a healthy union. When we understand and place God’s design at the center of the marriage, we find true and mutual satisfaction. Only then are we cooperating with God in our roles and responsibilities, husbands learning to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives allowing themselves to be loved in the way God intended. This is God’s way
